 Had a snow storm the night before my firewood was to be delivered, so they cancelled because of their plowing commitments. Delivered the day after right on time with a more than fair face cord of "ready-to-burn" hardwoods. Very friendly, and even gave me a discount for having to cancel. Delivered price was very good. Will use them again!

TREE SERVICE

Specializing in tree care for both commercial and residential properties. HGTS Inc has the expertize, equipment and manpower to handle any size job! Whether you're trimming or removing 1 tree or 30 acres, we have the tools and trucks to get the job done.

FIREWOOD

We offer seasoned firewood for both residential & commercial customers! Our logs are split and air dried for over one year. We do reserve some Cherry and Hickory for same day split for cooking. Please request ahead of time for our meat smoking customers! Check out delivery prices here. Customers are always welcome to pick up at the yard for a discounted price. Call for more information!

CONSULTING

With over 55+ years combined experience, we feel confident to share our knowledge and love for trees! Herman began climbing at that age of 25! Now retired at a young 80, he still continues to be involved in tree care. He may not be climbing, but he keeps himself busy cutting with his sawmill and giving advice daily!

LANDSCAPING

Landscaping services for both commercial and residential properties. We are happy to provide a free quote to help you determine what works best on your property! From clearing out flower beds and adding mulch to grading your entire property and installing Sod!

STUMP REMOVAL

We quote our tree removal services with and without stump grinding. We provide stump grinding services for those stumps previously left behind. It is important to grind stumps for a few important reasons. Click here to see!

From 1967 to 1985 Herman gained his expertize on the job through well known mentors and companies in the tree care industry. As a climber, became certified by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers allowing him to complete specialty jobs and train future journeyman.  He spent a lifetime passing on these techniques and skills to his crew focusing on safety, integrity and efficiency. In 1985 Herman Gomez Tree Service and Landscaping Inc opened for business!

In 2017 his son-in-law Hugo took over bringing over 20 years of arborist, supervisory and machine operating experience! This allowed him to earn the name with the knowledge to complete any job requiring arborist and landscaping expertise.

In 2022 his grandson Ernesto joined the team full time after a lifetime of exposure to his grandpas training and in 2024 he earned certification with the International Society of Arborculture as Certified Arborist!

Herman may have hung up the saddle and the spikes, but his expertize and knowledge opened up a path for a family business which we share with the crew and customers everyday!
