 Had a snow storm the night before my firewood was to be delivered, so they cancelled because of their plowing commitments. Delivered the day after right on time with a more than fair face cord of "ready-to-burn" hardwoods. Very friendly, and even gave me a discount for having to cancel. Delivered price was very good. Will use them again!

TREE SERVICE

Specializing in tree care for both commercial and residential properties. HGTS Inc has the expertize, equipment and manpower to handle any size job! Whether you're trimming or removing 1 tree or 30 acres, we have the tools and trucks to get the job done.

FIREWOOD

We offer seasoned firewood for both residential & commercial customers! Our logs are split and air dried for over one year. We do reserve some Cherry and Hickory for same day split for cooking. Please request ahead of time for our meat smoking customers! Check out delivery prices here. Customers are always welcome to pick up at the yard for a discounted price. Call for more information!

LANDSCAPING

Landscaping services for both commercial and residential properties. We are happy to provide a free quote to help you determine what works best on your property! From clearing out flower beds and adding mulch to grading your entire property and installing Sod!

STUMP REMOVAL

We quote our tree removal services with and without stump grinding. We provide stump grinding services for those stumps previously left behind. It is important to grind stumps for a few important reasons. Click here to see!

About

HGTS Inc began with Herman Gomez. From 1967 to 1985 Herman gained his expertise through mentors and companies in the tree care industry. As a climber, he became certified by the IBEW allowing him to complete specialty jobs and train future journeyman. 

In 1985 Herman Gomez Tree Service and Landscaping Inc opened for business! Herman spent a lifetime passing on his techniques and skills to the crew! He focused on safety, integrity and efficiency.

30 years later, Hugo, this son-in-law, took over the business. With over 20 years of arborist, supervisory and machine operating experience, he earn the position with the knowledge to complete any job requiring arborist and landscaping expertise.

After a lifetime of exposure to their grandpas training and working every summer since the age of 12, Ernesto joined the team full time in 2022 and Cristian in 2023.  Ernesto is a Certified Arborist with ISA.

Herman may have hung up the saddle and spikes, but every now and then he shows up on the site! His knowledge opened up a path for a family business which we love to do everyday! He retired to North Carolina where he continues to work and play with a saw mill making beautiful custom slabs of wood!
